Mrs. Knaidel

Sorry for the long hiatus- well, why am I apologizing? Anyway- I was busy with wedding preparations, the wedding, sheva brachos, and settling into married life. But here I am- back and better than ever. And baruch hashem- those nerves are away.

Everyone keeps asking me- how is married life? What's it like? First off- I don't do any of the married tasks like cooking etc, because I live right near my parents and figure that its the summer. When the zman starts, and I actually move to E'Y, I will have plenty of oppurtunities for that.

As for feeling married- hah. I still can't believe it. It is so weird, but I have to say that the itchy sheitel does remind me of exactly that. I'm still the same person, I just happen to have less free time.

More soon- on the other side of the single friend's complaints. But mine can't complain, because I still call/text/visit them.

first of all, a big Mazel Tov to you Mrs. Knaidel! I came across your blog recently and relate to alot of your sentiments and while I'm one of those "20-somethings" waiting for hkb"h to send me my bashert (b'sha'a tova!) Just a general comment about your blog.. I can certainly understand your entries about "personal growth." I was so worried that after my year in seminary I wouldn't keep growing. I feared losing that connection we all work so hard to build or that I'd climb and then plateau but it's only with time and age that I've really been able to reap the fruits of my labors from that year in sem and better appreciate the growth and new found understanding since those months in the beit midrash. sometimes the greatest gift in building our emunah is more time.

wishing you much hatzlacha in your marriage and continued growth both personally and together with your chosson!! may you be zoche to build a bayit ne'eman b'yisrael.

Mazal Tov.. You should build a bayis neeman b'yisroel. Dont be like all the other great bloggers who got married and then disapeared.
